Six directions you can adapt
These are visual starting points, not universal recipes. Commission tag targets, budget, and unlocked materials still control the final plan.

Design direction 01
Pastel floral ballgown
A soft two-tone bodice, pink peplum, and large patterned skirt show how one accent color can tie several pattern pieces together.
Use a simple color structure when the fabric pattern is already busy.Plan a matching silhouette ->
Design direction 02
Layered gold event gown
The gown uses a strong three-band skirt and dense floral accessories to create a clearly formal event silhouette.
Build horizontal rhythm with controlled bands before adding dense ornament.Plan an advanced event dress ->
Design direction 03
Teal evening column gown
A fitted shape gives the bodice, waist, and skirt trim locations a clear role without needing a large printed pattern.
Use cleaner lines when the brief calls for glamour, elegance, or precise trim placement.Place details cleanly ->
Design direction 04
Rose and white flower bodice
The large flowers repeat around the waist, turning a small accessory group into the main focal feature.
Repeat one motif at deliberate intervals rather than scattering unrelated decorations.Use the accessory placement guide ->

Purple brocade and pink ruffle
A bold brocade can carry a dress without extra print matching, especially when the silhouette has fewer large surfaces.
Let the fabric pattern be the focal feature when commission tags allow it.Choose fabric by tag ->

Start with the brief, finish with one idea
- 01
Read every requirement
Identify tag minimums, maximums, color restrictions, fabric restrictions, accessory types, and trim lengths before choosing a look.
- 02
Choose a dominant silhouette
A ballgown creates a broad canvas for large motifs. A fitted gown makes trim paths and small jeweled details more visible.
- 03
Decide which element leads
Let one feature dominate: a patterned fabric, a bold color block, a repeated flower, or a strong skirt band. Everything else supports it.
- 04
Preview before buying
Use the sketchbook swatches and pattern pieces to estimate cloth and inspect tag coverage. Fabric length can change after a silhouette swap.
- 05
Place required pieces first
Solve the commission before decorating freely. Then inspect seams, cuffs, and the back of the garment with the camera.
